1. Pierce Brosnan acts convincingly against type — far from James Bond in language, character, and state of his body. 

2. Makes you think hard between episodes.  Super thought-provoking. 

3. Skillfully uses “the C-word” about 10 times an episode.  And you like it. 

4. Feels like Game of Thrones meets Downton Abbey (including common actors, actually).

5. Portrays male beard-stubble in the best light possible.  Every badass dude has a micro-beard. 

6. Showcases some sweet rides and fine homes in London.

7. Has a great opening song and solid music soundtrack. 

8. Is one of the only shows done by MTV I think actually succeeds. 

9. You root for bad guys and then worse guys.
